Remaining winless in Wesco play, the Oak Harbor High School soccer team lost 4-0 to Snohomish at Wildcat Memorial Stadium Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The Panthers (2-1, 4-3) jumped to a 3-0 first half lead to secure the win.
“The girls played OK,” Oak Harbor coach Mike Lonborg said. “They didn’t give up the entire night. We just made some little mistakes and they came back to bite us.
“The girls are working hard; it is just the small things we need to focus on. They are starting to put some things together but it needs to be faster.”
Lonborg singled out the play of Kyra McConaghy as one of the bright spots for the Wildcats.
Oak Harbor (0-3, 1-5) hosts Lynnwood (1-1-1, 2-3-1) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22.
