North Whidbey Aquatic Club’s Jillian Pape competed in the Washington State Senior Championships Dec. 18-20 in Federal Way.

Pape recorded personal bests in two of her four swims, clocking a 2:19.16 in the 200-yard butterfly and 56.8 in the 100 freestyle.

Both times are the fastest by all NWAC swimmers this short course season, according to coach Dick Taylor.
