Four Parks – Howard, Jenny, Jason and Hyung – and Sohn Moon combined to win the Fall Five Ball Tournament at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Saturday, Oct. 8.
The quintet captured the tournament with a 122 net and also took first in the Choker Honey Pot competition and the 18th hole skins game with a 17.
Two teams tied for second at 124: Rick Nunn, Chuck Flajole, Rob Wunder, Bob Wilzen and Tom Kidd; and Scott Nelson, Greg Hall, Greg Chandler, Mick Brusco and Doug Campbell.
The tournament, sponsored by China City Restaurant and Lounge, had an unusual format. On each hole the teams had four players play a scramble and a designated fifth player play his or her own ball. Those scores were combined to create a team score.
