October has been a difficult month for the Oak Harbor High School tennis team.
Starting Oct. 1, the Wildcats lost a 4-3 decision to Lake Stevens and then dropped the next three matches as well to Arlington, Stanwood and Everett by the same 4-3 scores.
Oak Harbor’s second, third and fourth singles players, Ryan Evans, Jordan Kingma and Josh Evans, picked up victories in all four matches, most of them coming in straight sets, but the rest of the team has struggled.
