One game remains on the regular season schedule for the Coupeville High School softball team after Cedarcrest recorded a 14-4, six-inning victory on Monday.
The Red Wolves scored six runs in the top of the first inning and two more in the top of the second to take an early lead.
Errors once again hurt the Wolves who committed nine miscues in the six inning contest.
Katie Smith and Mandy Murdy each had a single and a double for Coupeville that collected eight hits in the game.
Megan Smith also had a double for the Wolves, 4-13-league, 5-14 overall.
Coupeville travels to Lakewood Wednesday afternoon for the final game of the regular season and plays at Friday Harbor at 4 p.m. Friday, May 15, in a District 1 play-in game.
