Oak Harbor High School senior John Rodeheffer signed a letter of intent Wednesday, April 15, to compete for Boise State University next school year.

Rodeheffer will run cross country and track for the Broncos.

In seven seasons at Oak Harbor High School, four in cross country and three in track, Rodeheffer has qualified for state each season and earned five first-team, all-conference awards.

He placed fourth in the state 3A cross country meet last fall, tying for the best finish ever by an Oak Harbor male runner.

Rodeheffer owns the school 3,200-meter record in track (9:20.19), clocking the mark while placing sixth in the state meet as a sophomore.
