Oak Harbor High School senior outfielder Yale Rosen was named to the all-state second team in baseball by the Washington State Baseball Coaches Association Wednesday.

Rosen led Oak Harbor in hitting this spring with a .500 average. He also slugged four home runs, scored 21 runs and recorded 29 RBI.

Rosen is a two-time, all-Wesco first-team selection. He recently received a scholarship from Washington State University to play for the Cougars next year.

The only other Western Conference 3A player to be named to the first or second team was Shorewood’s Trevor Mitsui. Mitsui was a first-team choice and named the state’s 3A Player of the Year. His coach, Wyatt Tonkin, was selected as Coach of the Year.
