After a scoreless first inning, the host Lynnwood High School fastpitch team scored in five straight frames to romp by Oak Harbor 11-1 Tuesday, March 20.

The Wildcats picked up their only run in the fourth inning with Shawna Steele singled in Morgan Young.

Young finished with two of Oak Harbor’s four hits; Samm Zimmerman added a double.

Erica Gott and Meagan Crabtree combined for eight of Lynnwood’s (1-0, 2-1) 14 hits.

Oak Harbor (0-1, 2-3) plays Everett (0-0, 4-0) at 4 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Hillcrest Elementary.
