Same team, same score, same finish.
The quintet of Robert Chrisman, Arik Dahlen, Andrew Fridlund, Willie Sprague and Robert Tercero won its second consecutive Whidbey Golf Club Five-person Best Ball Tournament July 31 by posting the identical score, 378, that won last year’s event.
The group cruised to a nine-stroke win. Ron Coleman, Okie Dureau, John Geragotelis, Mike Lacey and Tim Wyer placed second with a 387, three strokes ahead of Derek Romero, Bill VanCleef, Gene Whitley, Josh Whitley and Nick Whitley.
In all, 185 players took part in the tournament sponsored by Frontier Building Supply.
