The Falcons also topped Coupeville 61-36 Dec. 2.

Coupeville (1-0, 4-5) now turns its attention to league foe Port Townsend (1-0, 1-7), hosting the Redhawks at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5.

Against South Whidbey, Coupeville fell behind early but stayed within striking distance until the Falcons outscored the Wolves 18-10 in the final period.

South Whidbey led 11-6 after the first quarter, 28-20 at the break and 38-29 after three quarters.

Coupeville was without two players, Ryan Griggs and leading scorer Wiley Hesselgrave.

Jordan Ford finished with 19 points, J.J. Johnson six, Risen Johnson five, Deandre Mitchell five, Hunter Smith two and Desmond Bell two.

The Falcons (5-5) were led by Chase White with 26 points and Lewis Pope with 20.
