The Stanwood High School tennis team defeated Oak Harbor 6-1 on the Wildcats’ courts Monday, Sept. 18.

Ryan Mene collected the lone Oak Harbor win by capturing fourth singles 6-4, 2-6, 1-0(8).

The Wildcats (1-3, 2-5) go to Everett (2-1, 4-2) for a 3:30 p.m. match Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Clark Park.

Doubles: Trenton Cone/Jhaylan Munger lost 6-2, 6-4; 2, Ridgely Briddell/Sam Peek lost 6-2, 6-2; 3, Edison Soliman/Nick Krantz lost 6-3, 6-7(5), 1-0(8).
