Oak Harbor hosted the first three-way high school swim meet in recent years at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool Tuesday afternoon and came away with a split against Glacier Peak and Snohomish.
Swimming against Glacier Peak the Wildcats were 108-78 winners, but it was a different story against the Snohomish Panthers.
The Panthers came into the meet with a perfect record and left the same way with a 106-77 win over the Wildcats to boost their season record to 5-0.
Oak Harbor is 3-2 in league meets and 4-3 overall, while Glacier Peak has a record of 2-2 in the league and 2-3 overall.
Against Glacier Peak, the Wildcat 200 medley relay team composed of Amanda Streubel, Rachel Weinstein, Ciara Hu and Karina Concepcion won the event in a time of 2:13.37.
Hu won the 200 individual medley at 2:35.53 and Concepcion won the 100 freestyle in a time of 1:06.78.
Weinstein was the winner in the 400 freestyle clocked at 4:51.23 and Streubel won the 100 backstroke at 1:11.62, and teamed with Tori Nickerson, Abby Rankin and Abby Leete on the winning 200 freestyle relay with a clocking of 2:10.42
Streubel’s backstroke time of 1:11.62 also was good enough to be one of the two Oak Harbor winners against Snohomish.
Rankin was the other winner against the Panthers, capturing the diving competition with a score of 97.65 points.
