Two North Whidbey Aquatic Club swimmers set team records during the final day of the Pacific Northwest Swimming championships in Federal Way Sunday, July 28.
Olivia Tungate, 12, wrapped up an outstanding meet with a team record in the 50 free, finishing second in 32.43.
She also placed fourth in the 100 butterfly in 1:07.26.
Kelly Huffer, who also had a good showing in the four-day meet, set a new NWAC mark in the 100 butterfly while placing fourth in 1:06.73. She added a fifth in the 200 freestyle in 2:13.98.
Ashleigh Merrill, 10, placed 13th in the 100 fly (1:29.92), 17th in the 200 free (2:54.17) and 19th in the 50 backstroke (41.1).
Emily Huffer, 16, took 27th in the 100 fly (1:08.76), and Jillian Pape, 13, also placed 27th in the same event (1:12.89).
