Oak Harbor picked up wins in the top two singles matches, but Marysville-Pilchuck’s superior depth led the Tomahawks to a 5-2 win Friday in Oak Harbor.
Wildcat Derek Thomas captured the top singles match, defeating Corey Coombs 6-1, 6-0.
Josh Evans picked up Oak Harbor’s other point with a 6-3, 6-2 win in second singles.
Ben Cardinal lost in three sets in fourth singles, 2-7, 6-2, 2-6. No other Wildcat entry won a set.
