Tryouts for the Whidbey Island Basketball Club’s girls fourth through the eighth grade SWISH basketball teams is 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Oak Harbor Middle School.

This is for girls who want to play competitive basketball; this is not a recreational league.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting following the tryouts Sept. 15.

All girls must register to participate in the first practice, and the $100 fee is due at that practice.

The SWISH League games are played in Mount Vernon, La Conner and Sedro-Woolley on Saturdays beginning Oct. 22; the season ends Dec. 17. The first practice is Sept. 19.
