The undefeated Everett girls’ soccer team continued its winning ways by defeating visiting Oak Harbor 4-0 Thursday.
The Seagulls, the top ranked 3A team in the state, poured in all four goals in the first 15 minutes. OHHS coach Jeff Laiblin said, “We could have let the flood gates open, but we didn’t. We shut them out for the next 65 (minutes).” He added, “Maggie Gorman was phenomenal in the goal.”
Laiblin was pleased with his team’s effort. He said,”We were at their place with a big crowd, but we played great. They have been beating teams worse.”
The Seagulls are now 12-0 and the Wildcats 0-13.
