Oak Harbor High School graduate Jeremy Vester was named the Most Improved Performer on the Central College wrestling team at the squad’s recent awards banquet.

He and his brother, Jahleel Vester, also received varsity letters at the banquet.

Jeremy Vester, a sophomore at Central (Pella, Iowa), posted a 22-9 record this season and finished first in the Super 8 Invitational, second in the MSOE Invitational and Central Under Armour Invitational and fifth in NCAA Division III central regional.

Jahleel Vester, a junior, earned his second varsity letter while posting an 11-10 record and taking first in the MSOE Invitational and second in the Super 8 Invitational.
