Wesco leaders top Oak Harbor / Tennis

First-place and unbeaten Snohomish clipped the host Oak Harbor High School tennis team 6-1 Monday, April 15.

The Wildcats’ lone point against the Panthers (3-0, 6-0) came in first singles where Oak Harbor’s MJ Timm won 7-5, 6-0.

Oak Harbor (1-3, 3-5) faces Marysville-Pilchuck (0-2, 3-5) at Totem Middle School in Marysville at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.

Singles: 1, MJ Timm won 7-5, 6-0; 2, Sierra Brackeen lost 6-0, 6-0; 3, Annie Salinger lost 6-2, 6-3; 4, Danielle Lonborg lost 6-2, 6-0.

Doubles: 1, Monique Stolmeier/Olivia Lerch lost 6-2, 6-0; 2, Frances Empinado/Emily Gouge lost 6-0, 6-1; 3, Anne-Jun Lemoine/Caitlin Dennen lost 6-0, 6-0.
