The Whidbey Golf Club and sponsor SaviBank will hold its inaugural charity golf tournament at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, to raise funds for the Oak Harbor High School golf teams.

The tournament features a four-person shotgun scramble.

A portion of the entry fees and all of the sponsorship donations will go to the Wildcat golf programs.

“With the enthusiastic support of our community donors, volunteers and players, this event will continue to help grow the game of golf and assist these students to develop into responsible adults,” according to a press release for the event.

The entry fee is $400 per team or $125 per individual and includes a bag lunch and buffet dinner.
