Two members of the Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team finished in the top 10 in a pair of state-qualifying diving matches earlier this month.
Wildcat sophomores John Blankman and Jordan Fay placed sixth and seventh out of 19 competitors with scores of 267.5 and 237.55 at Kamiak Jan. 18.
Shorewood’s Isaac Poole took the top spot with a 554.35. A score of 315 is necessary to qualify for the state 3A meet.
At Mariner Jan. 25, Blankman (260.35) and Fay (253.95) finished eighth and 10th.
Andrew Kalio of Marysville-Pilchuck was first out of 20 with a 367.65.
