Wildcats 17th at invitational | Girls golf

The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team placed 17th out of 22 teams at the Suncadia Invitational Tuesday, April 28, in Roslyn.

The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team placed 17th out of 22 teams at the Suncadia Invitational Tuesday, April 28, in Roslyn.

Ephrata won the team title with 330 strokes; Oak Harbor shot 421.

Ephrata’s Kenedee Peters earned medalist honors with a 73.

Hailey Beecher led the Wildcats with a 96. She was followed by Marisa Sligh (103), Taylor Hannah (110), Makalyn Miller (112) and Terra Baird (117).

The Wildcats go to the Cedarcrest Golf Course to meet Marysville-Pilchuck at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
