A sweep of the three relays propelled the Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team to a 97-73 win at Stanwood Thursday, Sept. 22.
With the win, Oak Harbor remains perfect after five meets; Stanwood dropped to 1-3.
Oliva Tungate, Taliah Black, Jillian Pape and Erica Sugatan got things started for the Wildcats by winning the 200 medley relay (1:59.42). Later in the meet, Pape, Black, Naomi Garcia and Tungate took the 200 freestyle relay (1:51.65); then Sugatan Garcia, Maya Krantz and Frances Empinado finished the afternoon by capturing the 400 free relay (4:34.85).
Pape tacked on two individual wins (50 free, 26.09; 100 butterfly, 1:03.77); while Black won the 500 free (5:57.92) and Tungate the 100 backstroke (1:03.43).
The Wildcats face Mount Vernon (1-0) at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at John Vanderzicht Pool.
