After winning only one of six non-league matches, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team won its second consecutive Wesco North contest when the Wildcats defeated visiting Stanwood 4-3 Tuesday, March 29.
Each winner for Oak Harbor won both sets by the same score.
AnnaBelle Whitefoot captured No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1, while Tamia Rios claimed No. 2 6-2, 6-2.
Ria Bains and Elma Marie Empinado won in second doubles 6-1, 6-2; and Emma Wezeman and Emily Brown wrapped up the match for Oak Harbor with a 6-2, 6-2 win in third doubles.
In other singles play, Lauren Aspery lost 4-6, 6-2, 6-4; and Peyton Carlson fell 6-2, 6-0.
Brianne DeGuzman and Aelizah Espiritu dropped first doubles 6-0, 6-2.
Marysville-Pilchuck (1-1, 1-4) visits Oak Harbor (2-0, 3-5) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 1.
