Continuing its hot streak, the Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team snared its seventh straight win by defeating Meadowdale 122-61 at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool Monday, Oct. 17.

Oak Harbor (7-4) will face a stiff challenge when it goes to 8-1 Kamiak along with Jackson and Everett Thursday, Oct. 20, at 3:30 p.m. in the final regular season meet.

In the win over Meadowdale, Karina Concepcion and Ciara Hu once again led the way.

Concepcion won the 50-meter free (29.28) and 100 backstroke (1:10.42) and joined Irysh Concepcion, Angela Johnson and Therese Desquitado to win 400 free relay (4:33.67).

Hu took the 100 butterfly (1:10.82) and diving (126.65).

The Wildcats also received firsts from Mollie Briddell (200 free, 2:32.85), Irysh Concepcion (100 free, 1:07.8) and Nicole Vogt (400 free, 5:18.64).
