The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team remained undefeated in league play with a 3-1 win over visiting Everett Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The Wildcats won 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23 in lifting their league record to 3-0, 4-2 overall.

Taylor Nienhuis passed out 37 assists, setting up Kayleigh Harper for 14 kills and Janine DeGuzman for 13.

Harper also had three blocks and Christina Alexander 31 digs to pace the defense.

Coach Kerri Molitor said Kelsey Rankin and Hannah Salmons played “solid” games with no hitting errors.

Molitor said the win over Everett (1-2, 4-2) was a “tough match” and “both teams played hard.”

“We had a lot of errors,” Molitor said, “but made some smart choices at the end. We continue to work hard and improve as a steam…We are excited to be 3-0 in league but are taking it one game at a time.”

Oak Harbor heads to Shorecrest (0-4, 1-5) Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m.
