The Oak Harbor High School track teams were at the short end of a three-team meet Thursday, April 25, in Everett.
Snohomish beat the Wildcat boys 96-48 and the girls 120-30.
The host Seagulls slipped by the Oak Harbor boys 75-66 and the girls 77-61.
Michael Gomez collected the only first place for the Oak Harbor boys, winning the javelin (151-08).
Finishing second were Joseph Ralston (800, 2:07.15; long jump, 18-06), Michael Fisken (shot put, 46-08; discus, 126-06) and the 4×100 relay (Kekoa Alejandro, Jeremiah Dailey, Jake Mitten, Gabriel Daggett; 47.22).
Oak Harbor’s Morgan Pease won the girls 400 (1:03.21) and ran on the winning 4×200 (1:53.1) team with Maria Dailey, Tiana Jackson and Leielle Salinger.
Cami Bristow finished first in the javelin (90-01).
Taking second were Dailey (100, 13.54), Evelyn Osburn (3,200, 12:45.42) and the 4×400 (4:38.08) relay team of Brenna Rothman, Courtney VanGiesen, Stephanie Mayer and Osburn.
Oak Harbor hosts the North Sound Classic at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, and then the Wesco North divisional meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, and 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10.
