A sweep of the relays powered the Oak Harbor High School swim team to a 88-81 win over Everett at the Forest Park Pool Thursday, Jan. 21.
The Wildcats (4-6) close out the conference season with Stanwood (6-5) at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at John Vanderzicht Pool.
In the win over Everett (3-10), Oak Harbor captured all three relays.
Joe Gorman, Jared Hunt, Eric Jensen and Logan Clark started the meet by winning the 200 medley relay (2:01.44); and Garrett Karney, Quinn Karney, Cole McCaslin and Gorman finished it taking the 400 free relay (4:17.16).
Clark, Jensen, McCaslin and Andrew Snyder added a win in the 200 free relay (1:48.71).
Gorman (200 freestyle, 2:08.44), Jensen (100 butterfly, 1:04.33) and Hunt (100 breaststroke, 1:18.29) also won individual events.
