The Coupeville track teams nabbed 10 wins in their only home meet of the year Thursday, April 19, against King's at a windy, rainy Mickey Clark Field.

The Coupeville track teams nabbed 10 wins in their only home meet of the year Thursday, April 19, against King’s at a windy, rainy Mickey Clark Field.

Madison Tisa-McPhee and Mitch Pelroy were double winners for the Wolves. Tisa McPhee took both girls hurdle events (100, 17.5; 300, 53.5), and Pelroy won the boys sprints (100, 11.71; 200, 24.6).

Other girls who earned blue ribbons were Cassidi Rosenkrance (800, 2:50.9) and Megan Oakes (1,600, 7:24.5).

For the boys, Matthew Hampton (1,600, 5:31.6), Brandon Kelley (300 hurdles, 51.1), Stephen Edwards (triple jump, 30-09) and the 4×400 relay team (4:36.4, no names were reported) picked up wins.

The Wolves go to the Westling Invitational at South Whidbey High School at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21.
