Breaking a string of seven consecutive losses, the Coupeville High School tennis team walloped visiting Friday Harbor 5-0 Thursday, Oct. 10.
The Wolves lost only three games while winning in straight sets in each contest with the Wolverines.
Mason Grove (6-1, 6-0) and Thane Peterson (6-0, 6-0) collected wins in singles.
In doubles, James Wood and Zach Ginnings won 6-0, 6-0; Drake Borden and Koby Schreiber won 6-1, 6-0; and Miles Davidson and Logan Martin won 8-0.
Peterson and Andrew Aparicio teamed up for an 8-0 win in an exhibition match.
Coupeville (1-10, 2-10) plays its fourth match in five days when it goes to Bear Creek (7-5) at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11.
