Coupeville High School track team crossed the finish line first in seven events at a three-team meet at Granite Falls Thursday, March 28.
In team results, Archbishop Murphy won the boys meet with 120 points, Coupeville tallied 57 and Granite Falls 14. Granite Falls led the girls with 89, Murphy had 76 and Coupeville 38.
Makana Stone had a hand in four of the firsts. She won the 100 (13.45), 200 (27.68), 400 (1:04.78) and 4×100 relay with Marisa Etzell, Madison Tisa-McPhee and Sylvia Hurlburt (53.63).
Tisa-McPhee took first in both hurdle races (100, 18.56; 300, 59.79). The Wolves also grabbed second in each, Kirsten Pelroy in the 100 (20.97) and Courtney Allard in the 300 (1:10.66).
For the boys, Nick Streubel won the discus (115) and was third in the shot put (41-04.25).
The Wolves received other seconds from Brandon Kelley (boys 300 hurdles, 47.94) and the girls 4×200 relay (Etzell, Rachel Wenzel, Hurlburt, Nicole Becker, 1:59.14).
Coupeville goes to Sultan with Kings and Cedarcrest at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 11.
