Victories have not been frequent for the Coupeville and Oak Harbor high school tennis teams this fall, but both snared conference wins Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Coupeville blitzed visiting Chimacum 7-0, while the Wildcats squeaked out four three-set wins in their 5-2 victory at Marysville Getchell.
Coupeville 7, Chimacum 0
The Wolves didn’t lose a set in their easy win over the Cowboys (0-2, 0-5).

Coupeville (1-1, 2-5) goes to Klahowya (2-0, 7-1) at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29.

The Wildcats bounced back to win three matches in which they dropped the first set to claim the contest from the winless Chargers (0-7, 0-11).
